D.S. Dollman
The stories on this list are all considered ghost stories., with a ghost story defined as a work of fiction or non-fiction that contains a ghost as a primary or secondary character. Such story might simply have the premise of a ghost, or the premise of a haunting that implies the presence of a ghost.
Organizing a list such as this was a difficult, yet rewarding, endeavor. I struggled, at first, with the categories for classification, but truly enjoyed trying to classify my extensive list. If you know of a ghost story that you would like to see listed on this site, please contact me at dsdollman@yahoo.com.

Ghosts Stories on Television
Bonanza--Episode 335. Released in 1963. Little Joe (Michael Landon) is rescued by local townspeople after his horse is stolen in the desert. When the story has ended, the viewer can’t help but replay each scene in the mind, searching for clues to a conclusion that should have been obvious from the start. Great story.
